Campfire Radio Theater – “The Thing on the Ground Floor” (Parts 1 & 2)
We present a blood offering to the All Hallows’ Eve gods with a two-part special event. This is a “found footage” horror story that pushes the boundaries of audio immersion, designed to rattle your insides and place you directly in the center of the chaos.
Drawing inspiration from the intensity of cinema verité and the creeping dread of Arch Oboler, John Ballentine has crafted a relentless experience that demands to be heard in the dark.
The Story: The Talbert Building Incident
“On October 31st, 2019, the taping of a law enforcement reality show went terribly wrong as an unspeakable terror was unleashed on an unsuspecting film crew.”
Trisha Timmons, a producer for the reality show “Busted,” leads a crew into the infamous Talbert Building to document a routine raid. But as the team descends to the ground floor, they encounter a creeping black mist and a chorus of lost souls that defy explanation.
What was supposed to be a standard police operation transforms into a fight for survival against an ancient entity with a will of its own. We present to you the “lost tape” of that night.
