Campfire Radio Theater – “The Bones of Saint Nicholas”
We present a wonderfully twisted Christmas story in the latest episode of Campfire Radio Theater. There is something uniquely intriguing about blending the holidays with horror, especially when that holiday happens to be Christmas.
Being a fan of Silent Night, Deadly Night made this project even more fascinating to score. This episode also features Dani Aviles, a longtime musical collaborator. She provides her usual high-quality vocals on a new, haunting arrangement of “O Holy Night” and voices the character of Kate.
The Story: A Twisted Miracle
“The mall Santas adjacent to the food court were always a mixed lot… But one particular mall Santa seemed to wear the red suit like he owned it.”
Emotionally devastated in the wake of a bitter divorce, Belinda McCarty is an exhausted single mother trying to hold it together for the holidays. But her Christmas Eve takes a dark turn when she comes face to face with a sinister mall Santa intent on delivering a miracle she never asked for.
This is not a tale of sugarplums; it is a story of judgment, consequences, and the terrifying side of Saint Nick.
