Campfire Radio Theater – “Ravenous”

We journey to the windswept coast of Scotland for a tale of ancient hunger. I am proud to announce the release of “Ravenous,” an episode I had the pleasure of not only scoring but co-producing alongside creator John Ballentine.

One of the highlights of working on this story was enlisting my wife and our children to play small parts and contribute foley work. There is nothing quite like dragging your wife across the floor to simulate a body being moved, all while trying not to burst out laughing at the absurdity of it. Whatever it takes to get the perfect sound!

The Story: A Feast for the Ears

“It’s said the caves under the old township of Redmayne were carved by the finger of God and cursed by the Devil… Concealed among those craggy shadows were the unspoken tales… Bloody tales of raw unsated hunger and a forbidden feast.”

BBC journalist Albert Titus travels to the seaside village of Redmayne to investigate the disappearance of a colleague. What begins as a routine scoop quickly unravels into a terrifying mystery tied to the Sawney Bean legend, a sinister cannibal clan rumored to dwell in the sea caves below.

Featuring a fantastic cast including David Ault, this episode delves into the historic lore of the region and explores perhaps the most primal of fears.

Warning: Contains explicit language and frightening situations not suitable for younger audiences.
